LINEAR SPACE POSITIONING

Tunnel & Utility Corridor Positioning.

Keep location continuous along the work route.

Manage people and assets in long, narrow spaces using one-dimensional chainage and section maps. Plan around bends, branches and obstructions instead of applying a straight-line range claim to the entire tunnel.

HOW IT WORKS

From radio signals to usable location.

Dual-channel UWB stations and directional antennas observe corridor position, then map it to chainage and zones. The specification describes single-station 1D positioning; confirm ranging sequences and direction detection with compatible tags.

SYSTEM ARCHITECTURECONCEPT · NOT LIVE DATA
01

Survey the route

Record chainage, bends, branches and construction obstructions.

02

Place stations

Install antennas, stations, PoE and backhaul.

03

Calibrate sections

Validate location, handovers and coverage boundaries.

04

Connect operations

Use chainage for personnel counts and zone-event applications.

Fit linear spaces

Chainage and section identifiers suit construction and inspection workflows.

Installation-ready hardware

JJ-U provides an IP67 cast-aluminum station with antennas and brackets.

Central maintenance

PoE carries data and power; mini program or AC tools manage configuration.

DEPLOYMENT ESSENTIALS

Check the deployment requirements.

01JJ-U nominal ranging accuracy is 30cm and the 400m transmission figure assumes line of sight. Bends and vehicles may require additional coverage.

02Single-station 1D support is not unrestricted 2D/3D positioning. Branches need suitable maps and deployment planning.

03Match tag channels and protocols. Select equipment for hazardous areas using its actual certificates and project requirements.
